Online Store Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern the use of the G-YEZA Online Store and purchases made through store.g-yeza.co.za.
Important: The email stating that your order has been received is an acknowledgement only. It does not mean that G-YEZA has accepted the order. Acceptance remains subject to payment verification, stock confirmation, pricing verification and delivery confirmation.
1. Supplier information
The online store is operated by G-Yeza Data Solutions, a private company incorporated in South Africa under registration number K2017102279, trading through the G-Yeza Data Solutions – Online Store.
VAT registration number: 4190300485. Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices displayed on the store include VAT.
Website: store.g-yeza.co.za. The related corporate website is g-yeza.co.za.
Office bearers: Nkanyiso Qumbisa, Director; and Kerisha Moodley, Chief Executive Officer.
Address for legal service: 379 Anthon Lembede Street, Office 201B, Doone House, Durban, 4001, South Africa.
Legal notices: legal@g-yeza.co.za.
2. Scope and eligibility
These Terms apply to visitors, registered customers and purchasers using the online store. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the policies linked at checkout.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. A person ordering for a company, school, government entity or other organisation confirms that the person is authorised to bind that organisation.
South African consumer legislation does not necessarily apply in the same way to every transaction. Certain protections may not apply to organs of state or to juristic persons whose asset value or annual turnover meets or exceeds the applicable statutory threshold.
3. Products and descriptions
G-YEZA sells physical IT products, accessories, networking equipment, computers, displays, digital software licences and related services. Products may be new, refurbished, open-box, clearance, demonstration, special-order or custom-configured, where this is stated on the product page or quotation.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that descriptions, specifications, images and compatibility information are accurate. Manufacturer or distributor images may be illustrative. Minor non-material differences may occur, but G-YEZA will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
For refurbished, open-box or clearance goods, known defects, cosmetic marks, missing accessories and the applicable warranty should be stated before purchase. A disclosed condition does not exclude rights relating to undisclosed defects or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Prices, VAT and delivery charges
Displayed prices are in South African Rand and include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery is not free. Delivery charges depend on the destination, distance, size, weight and handling requirements of the order.
Where the complete delivery charge cannot be calculated automatically at checkout, the order remains a request until G-YEZA communicates the delivery charge and the customer accepts it. A binding sale is not concluded before the complete price has been confirmed.
If an obvious pricing, calculation or product-information error is identified before acceptance, G-YEZA may correct the error and invite the customer to proceed at the corrected price, or cancel the affected order and refund any payment received.
5. Orders and acceptance
- Submitting an order is an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products.
- The automated “order received” email acknowledges receipt only.
- G-YEZA may verify payment, stock, pricing, customer details, delivery feasibility and potential fraud indicators.
- The order is accepted only when G-YEZA expressly confirms acceptance, confirms dispatch, or confirms that the order is ready for collection.
Customers must review the cart, delivery details, products, quantities and total price before submitting the order. Errors should be corrected before checkout. A material error reported immediately after submission will be considered before the order is accepted or procurement begins.
6. Stock availability and order refusal
Many products are obtained from distributors after an order is placed. Website availability may therefore depend on final distributor confirmation.
Before acceptance, G-YEZA may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, the product has been discontinued, a material price or description error exists, payment fails or is reversed, fraud is reasonably suspected, delivery is not feasible, or a legal restriction prevents supply.
If G-YEZA cannot supply a paid order, the customer will be informed and the affected payment will be refunded. A substitute product will be supplied only with the customer’s agreement.
Quotations are valid for seven calendar days unless the quotation states otherwise, and remain subject to stock availability and any conditions shown on the quotation.
7. Payments
Available methods may include Visa, Mastercard, Ozow Instant EFT, Capitec Pay, Payflex and Bank EFT through the Netcash payment gateway. The methods actually available are those displayed at checkout.
G-YEZA does not ask customers to send full card details by email, WhatsApp or support ticket. Payment providers may apply their own security, verification, eligibility and service terms.
Payflex is a third-party payment arrangement. Eligibility, approval and instalment obligations are determined by Payflex under its own terms. G-YEZA does not itself grant credit.
Products associated with an order in “Pending payment” status may be reserved for up to 60 minutes. If payment is not completed, WooCommerce may cancel the pending order and release the stock. Bank EFT and other delayed-payment orders may be placed “On hold” and handled separately.
Approved refunds are submitted by G-YEZA within seven business days after the return, assessment and refund approval process is complete. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to reflect the refund.
8. Delivery and collection
Sales are limited to South Africa. G-YEZA arranges nationwide delivery using its in-house delivery personnel, subject to feasibility and the delivery arrangement agreed for the order.
The normal estimate is five to eight working days after payment has cleared, stock and delivery details have been confirmed, and the order has been accepted. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Collection is available by prior arrangement from the Durban office. Identification, proof of payment or order confirmation, and written authority where collecting for another person may be required.
Risk passes when the product is physically received by the customer or an authorised recipient. Ownership may remain with G-YEZA until full payment has been received.
Full details are in the Shipping, Delivery and Collection Policy.
9. Cancellation
A cancellation request should be sent promptly to helpdesk@g-yeza.co.za. G-YEZA will consider whether the order has been accepted, procured, customised, licensed or dispatched.
Nothing in these Terms removes a cancellation or cooling-off right that applies under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, Consumer Protection Act or another applicable law.
For qualifying electronic transactions, a natural-person consumer may have a seven-day cooling-off right after receipt of goods, subject to statutory exceptions. Exceptions may include customised or personalised goods, certain services started with consent, goods that cannot by their nature be returned, and computer software unsealed by the consumer.
Where no statutory cancellation right applies, G-YEZA may recover a reasonable, disclosed and legally permissible cancellation charge reflecting actual costs already incurred, particularly for special-order or custom-configured products.
10. Returns, defective goods and warranties
G-YEZA offers an additional three-calendar-day voluntary return request period for qualifying non-defective physical goods. This voluntary process does not shorten statutory cooling-off, defective-goods or warranty rights.
Qualifying consumers may return defective goods within six months after delivery, without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense, and may direct the supplier to repair, replace or refund, subject to the Consumer Protection Act.
All returns require a return authorisation. Products are inspected by a G-YEZA technician at the Durban office and may be referred to a distributor, manufacturer or authorised repair agent.
Full details are in the Returns, Refunds, Exchanges and Warranty Policy.
11. Digital products and software licences
Digital products may be delivered manually by email or through a secure FTP or download facility. Unless a product page states otherwise, the estimated fulfilment period is five to eight working days after acceptance and cleared payment.
Licence terms, device or account restrictions, system requirements and publisher conditions may differ by product. The customer must check compatibility before ordering and must keep licence keys confidential.
Delivered, revealed, downloaded, registered or activated licences are not ordinarily eligible for a voluntary change-of-mind return. This does not remove rights relating to an invalid, duplicate, incorrect, misdescribed or undelivered licence.
Full details are in the Digital Products and Software Licence Policy.
12. Customer accounts
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and protecting account credentials. Notify G-YEZA promptly if an account may have been accessed without authority.
G-YEZA may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security attacks, unauthorised resale of licence keys or conduct that materially harms the store or other users.
13. Installation and technical-support services
Installation, configuration and technical-support services are governed by the accepted quotation or statement of work in addition to these Terms. The customer must provide safe access, accurate site information, required power and network facilities, and appropriate backups.
Changes to scope, customer-caused delays, additional travel, additional equipment and work outside the quotation may require written approval and additional charges.
14. Intellectual property and website use
The website design, original text, graphics and G-YEZA branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Manufacturer names, logos and product images remain the property of their respective owners.
You may use the website for lawful browsing and purchasing. You may not scrape the store at scale, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, interfere with checkout, copy protected content for commercial use, or use the store for fraud.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes rights granted by the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, G-YEZA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was concluded, or for loss caused by customer misuse, unsupported configurations, unauthorised modifications, third-party outages or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
Third-party payment, software, telecommunications and platform services are subject to the availability and terms of those providers. G-YEZA remains responsible for obligations imposed on it by law.
16. Complaints, governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by South African law. Customers should first use the internal complaint process described in the Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy.
Nothing prevents a customer from approaching a regulator, ombud or court that has jurisdiction, including the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, National Consumer Commission or Information Regulator where applicable.
17. Changes to these Terms
G-YEZA may update these Terms for legal, security or operational reasons. The version applicable to an order is generally the version presented when the order was submitted, unless a change is required by law or the customer agrees otherwise.
Material changes will be published with a new effective date. Customers should save or print the Terms applicable to their transaction.
