PAIA Manual
Access G-YEZA’s manual prepared under section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000.
The downloadable Manual describes the records held by G-YEZA, how to request access, applicable fees, grounds for refusal and privacy processing information.
1. About the Manual
G-Yeza Data Solutions is a private body for purposes of PAIA. The Manual is intended to help a requester identify relevant records and follow the prescribed access process.
Access is not automatic merely because a record is listed. A requester must satisfy PAIA’s procedural and substantive requirements, including showing that a record of a private body is required for the exercise or protection of a right.

3. How to request access to a record
- Identify the record and the right you seek to exercise or protect.
- Complete the prescribed PAIA Form 2 for a request to a private body.
- Send the completed form and identification to the Information Officer.
- Pay any prescribed request or access fee when lawfully required.
- G-YEZA will decide the request within the period prescribed by PAIA, subject to a lawful extension or third-party process.

5. Official forms and guide
The Information Regulator publishes the prescribed PAIA request forms and a Guide on how to use PAIA. Use the current official version available from the Information Regulator.
6. Complaints
A requester who is dissatisfied with a PAIA decision of a private body may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator or apply to court in accordance with PAIA.
